| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00  | I just heard on WFAN that Jeff Van Gundy will be named the new head coach of the Washington Mystics of the WNBA. So thats why Van Gundy left and ruined the Knicks season, Thats great to know. Maybe its just me, I just cant see Jeff Van Gundy coaching in the WNBA. Is he going to be giving press conferences with bags under his eyes after tough games? Is he going to ride on Rebecca Lobos leg if she gets into a fight with one of Chamique Holdsclaw?  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | In the post today they gave a possible reason why he did this. Van Gundy still has one year left on his contract and any team that wants him as coach has to talk to the knicks and provide compensation, a first round draft choice. I guess if he does not coach in the NBA this year, the team he goes to won't have to give up a draft pick for him and they wait one year for him. Makes sense to me. | ||||
