than 100% worse than he did last April.

Why post this the night after he pitches a gem against the Pirates?

And I think playing in Coors Field might have just a little to do with that inflated ERA.

Im pissed too because I was going to put money on the Rockies last night, but decided I couldnt root for Hampton, and then they win 10-0.

Yeah, but they have great schools there :-D

Look at the pitchers who left Coors (Kile, Astascio, etc.)
He'd probably still look good in Met uni.
Besides, he'd be an extra pinch hitter.

I heard in the begining of the year there was a possible trade involving Hampton for Rolen on the Phillies.

Hampton's under contract another 6 years after this. besides that it would be a great trade for Philly. And yeah that's all Colorado needs - some more hitting. This team will NEVER EVER even come close to winning a world series as long as they play in that city. And whoever their manager is has nothing to with that either.
Any pitcher that signs there is just playing for the money. Any hitter that signs there is just playing for his stats.
