O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	I'm from Buffalo, so I am a Sabres fan, but I'm am coming here to talk any smack about the Devils. They are clearly the favorite in the East. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Well, I wish you luck there with the Sabres. They have a good team, could possibly beat the Flyers. They could also get past Round 2 and to the Eastern Conf. Finals, but, I thinks the Devils would beat them, in a classic Hasek/Brodeur matchup! Buffalo lacks the offensive firepower needed in the playoffs. The Devils were the number one offensive team this year, quite a contrast to when they one the Cup in 95. Sorry, but I really think it will be Devs vs. Avs in the Finals. E-Mail Me

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Red Dog, I MUST disagree with you. There is nothing classic about a two goalies wearing Louisville and CCM out playing each other. Bauer and pad named after Brian Heaton, Yes. CCM and Baseball bats....... BTW CCM at one time did make goalie equipment, but they just don't carry the prestige/tradition as Bauer/Cooper. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	close.. GlenS Falls.. Unfortunately they moved to a bigger market and now we're stuck with the Adirondack Icehawks of the UHL... They were one of the best teams in the league this year, and they still suck! They did finish second in the league in penalty minutes though, so that counts for something.. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Alright damnit.... it seems that once again I must defend my fellow black and orange clad lunatics. We aren't all assholes you know. I have never once gotten into a fight at a Flyers game, nor have I teken part in any concessional barages. Now, I must admit, Philly fans can be a wee bit extreme, and every so often they can take things too far...... oh who the hell am I kidding? Philadelphia fans are by far the most unruly, quick tempered and violent people in the world of spectator sports...... scary thing is, there is a certain sick community that takes great pride in that reputation. In all honesty though, it really is a small minority of the drunk whackos that ruin it for everybody, problem is that the "minority" group of nuts in Philly is much bigger than in most cities. I would love to see the Flyers go far this year, but the Devils really are the most talented I have ever seen them, and we all know that come playoff time its all about the hot goalie, and Martin is as good as they come in the crunch. Say hello to my little friend(s)! Proud adoptive parent of punkrocker.... inform me of any improper behavior!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Now SJ, a debate can be made over who has the most "creative" fans, Detroit or Philadelphia, but I didn't call you a beer tosser to insult you, just to rib you a little bit. I remember that incident well for only one reason: Rammer was behind your bench and there was no way in hell anyone from Buffalo would do anything to him except retire his number. I personally believe that it was a soda and ice cubes hit Ruff's face, but we will not debate that. Nor will we debate the merits of picking a fight with a team's #1 goon. I will mearly call you a beer tosser, just as some one might call someone a flatlander.... I was a little surprised my Cechmanek's performance last night. It seems that once ESPN finally uploaded a picture of him, he no longer plays as solid. (Oh, and LeClair should have taken the Penalty Shot.) Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	LETS GO DEVILS!!!!! Well, sloatsburgh, unfortunately, we will probably not see each other until the East Finals. I cannot see Pitt losing to Wash. But hey if you guys beat Ottawa in the Semis, man, another classics Brodeur/Hasek matchup and I would get ready for a lot of LATE nights again watching those two duel. -Someday, sometime, I will get my lazy ass to transfer to another site ... until then .....
