Bad News - knicks granted a leap of absence to Marcus Camby. He will not be playing tomorrow. He isnt even going to travel to toronto. Also, they have no idea how long he is going to be out.

as much as i support camby right now, there's no way the knicks can win without him playing at his best.

also, it would help if kurt thomas was not the only scoring threat. houston and sprewell have to step it up big time if they want to win.

THe Knicks have to hope that Toronto is off their game, It doesnt look good because it looks like Vince Carter has woken up after his performance in Game 2 and his playoff jinx may have been broken.

Looks like the knicks did ok today. They won by eight. They looked like they were playing with some fire. I have a feeling they felt they had to win for camby. I think the real key was that this was the first time the big 3 clicked in this series. Houston, Sprewell, and Rice all did what they had to do.

it tastes pretty good I guess since the Knicks were victorious.

And all I said was that it looks like Vince Carter has awaken. I didnt say Vince Carter is going to Explode and the Knicks are dead.

Knicks win game 3 without Camby. Shocking. Maybe now they can close out the series, but remember this is the knicks.

I close my eyes when I get too sad I think thoughts that I know are bad Close my eyes and I count to ten Hope it's over when I open them I want the things that I had before Like a Star Wars poster on my bedroom door I wish I could count to ten Make everything be wonderful again - Everclear playing at Marist on April 29th

I think the knicks will close it out wednesday. The knicks are lock-in to get to the second round.

Not to sound repetitive, but nothings a lock with the Knicks. I will feel alot better once we get by Toronto and its over and its a Decade Straight of 2nd Rounds for the Knicks.

Unfortunately you're probably right. It's always
something new watching this team come playoff time
but the one thing to be expected is that david
stern wont be handing them any trophies at the
end. even this year, despite the fact that
they're 4-0 against LA (both pretty much without
kobe) and SA, u just have that feeling that even
if they do make it to the finals, they will just
come up a bit short. ahhh the joys of being a
knicks fan....

If they lose in the Finals sure thats dissapointing, but its an Accomplishment to get there and at least you can dwell on being the Eastern Conference Champions, something the Knicks are certainly capable of.

Ok maybe I'm a little pissed over the Knicks loss in game 4. However, the headband thing is lame. Toronto is too pathetic to come up with their own token unity gesture. They have got to steal the Hornets lame form of expression. Fucking ponderous!!!!! I stiil had a soft spot in my heart for Oak untill I saw him with that purple band on his head.

This one really hurts. The Knicks have overachieved in the playoffs the past couple of years, this year they underachieved. They had no business losing to Toronto, but they are just too damn inconsistent. Where was Allan Houston tonight? And why when we need a big shot are we going to Glen Rice and Charlie Ward? Uhhhhhh. This one leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Team has no heart...no leadership. Reality finally hits. Van Gundy's coaching and Latrell can only do so much.

"Oh a false clock tries to tick out my time -
To disgrace, distract, and bother me.
And the dirt of gossip blows into my face,
And the dust of rumors covers me.
But if the arrow is straight -
And the point is slick,
It can pierce through dust no matter how thick.
So I'll make my stand
And remain as I am
And bid farewell and not give a damn."

R.I.P. funny man. Like I said in a previous post, we have had a great run. This is the first time in ten years we have not got past the first round. When I was a kid we sucked. Hit the chalk board, and see you next year.

I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker!

Just a bunch of talented underacheivers. There is no reason the Knicks should not have been in the finals.

The finals? Philly kinda, sorta has a team too. They, like, won a bunch of games this year. Knicks werent gonna get past Philly, but they shoulda been playing them anyway. You think Ebersol or some other NBC ex jumped off a roof somewhere? Notre Dame sucked ass this year, the XFL was a complete bust and the Knicks, Portland and the Heat take first round exits setting up that exciting Philly vs. Toronto matchup(which the people in Toronto wont even care too much about if the Maple Leafs advance) and, of course, Charolette vs. the Bucks. Ohh, I know Im tuning in!
