According to ESPN.com, the NHL has suspended Domi for the remainder of the playoffs.

This amounts to anywhere from a 2-11 game suspension. I still think it should carry over to next season. Didn't one of the Hatcher brothers get 20 games at the start of a season because of an illegal crosscheck at the end of the previous postseason? It was Caps-Isles I think. Anyway - Domi got off easy.

Fucking YES! It serves that asshole right.
Actually, on one hand I don't like this because we will now have to wait until next season to get our hands on that midget scumbag, but on the other hand it will allow the Devils to concentrate on the game instead of revenge.
Count your lucky stars Domi because you would have been a dead man by the end of this series asshole.

Dale Hunter got a 21 game suspension that started the next year. The game in which that incident took place was the last that Washington played as that was the series clincher for the Islanders.

And if the Devils win the series, Domi is suspended the first 8 games of next year, so there is a carry over.
