uhh they are right. Obviously I looked them up myself.

OK so I wrote Pilots for some reason, but the rest are right.

And yeah you did misphrase it then. Being a 5 Time Champion DOESNT mean consecutive. The Yankees are 26 Time World Champions, that doesnt mean they won 26 in a row.

I've got 2 questions, and forgive me if they have been answered already, but my search came up empty.
(And keep in mind that I don't know the answers, these are actual questions)

1) Where did throwing batteries at baseball players originate and why?

2) Same question about octopus on the hockey rink.

I'll take the octopus question...
WHen the Red Wings were in a long drought (i forget how many years) between stanley cups the fans started throwing octopi onto the rink.. This is because the last time the Wings had won the Stanley Cup, it only took 8 playoff wins to do it..

Damnit. I knew the Metropolitan one without having to look it up.

What is the city of Origin of the NJ Devils (original team)?

Name the WHA teams that are not in the NHL (well, maybe 4).

During the WHA, what localities had teams in both the NHL and WHA (e.g. New York: Rangers/Islander & Raiders).

Against what team did a fan throw a puck into the net at a Rangers game (Don't answer, j/k)

The Devils Started out in Kansas City, they were called the Scouts, After 2 years of no one showing up at Kemper Arena, they Moved to McNichols Sports Arena and Became the Colorado Rockies, the Dr. John J. McMullen bought the team and moved them to his home state of New Jersey.
Devils was the chosen nickname by a fan vote, it had gotten 6,000 more than any other. The Others? they were the Meadowlanders, Meadowlarks, Blades, Americans, and Knights
