The Monza Grand Prix in Italy

Jimmy Clark stalled his Lotus-Ford at the start, and came back all the way from last place to get to 1st place and ran out of fuel on the last quarter mile to finish 3rd or 4th.

The Yanks winning in 96, their first championship I was old enough to understand.
Being at game 1 of the Subway Series with Felix Jose's game winning hit.

Giants SuperBowl win w/ the infamous missed FG by the Bills.

Kirk Gibsons homerun in the WS in 88 where he did that trot deal around the bases.

And MJ's last shot.

It wasn't memorable because of a score or win, but what sticks in my head the most when it comes to sports is the next Yankee home game after Thurman Munson died, when they shut all the lights in the stadium, and shinned a spot light on Home plate for a moment of silence, I remember that day as if it just happened.:(

Crap, not sure of date but it was a Ranger game vs. Detroit back in 94 or 95 that I went to. It was a 5-5 tie but what a game....Tons of fights, guys leaving the penalty boxes....but then Domi and Probert when at it ...Domi winning of course. It seemed like the fight lasted for 10 minutes. Effin amazing game. Just the electricity in the Garden. Chills people.

Jan. 1985 - 49ers destroy the favored (!) Dolphins to go 18-1 on the season...
Jan. 1990 and 1995 - 49ers annihilate the Broncos and Chargers, respectively, to win their 4th and 5th Super Bowls without a loss...

And my personal greatest, the 1989 Bay Bridge series, swept by the A's...
The first "subway series" in the modern era. :P :P :)

Silent CART Fan...you weren't even alive in 1967!
This is an outrage...
JV's win at Indy was the first time the winner drove 505 miles to win the race.I believe he was 2 (yes 2)laps down!
Pruett over Unser at Michigan and Unser over Goodyear at Indy were great races too.
Chamblis hitting the 9th inning homer in the ALCS in 76 was really cool to.
BTW Silent...you should change your name (maybe use your cousins from 7th Gear) The real Silent at 7th G is an old O&A fan from Boston and if he found out you stole his handle he might spam your cousin. Hahahaha..Skeeter.. over and out!
