| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I cannot believe I am saying this but starting today for the next 3 days, I am a huge Mets fans. They play the Red Sox at home and they can do a huge favor for the Yankees these next few days. No, I will not watch the games at all (My 2 least favorite teams in all of baseball), probably won't even turn it on to check out the score, but I want the Mets to not only win, but to sweep the Red Sox. So come on Yankee fans everywhere, Let's get that song going, "Let's Go Met's Go" Who the hell am I kidding, I know those stupid dumbasses will get swept by the Red Sox. They suck, suck, suck. If they don't win at least 2 from the Red Sox, I will despise the Mets more than I already do. | ||||

I don't know, I think my thread was appropriate. The Mets are so far out of it, why not want them to beat a team that is right on our heels. | ||||

I had a momentary lapse of reason. Luckily I caught myself or I would have had to check into Bellevue. Thank you for saving me. You are right. It is best just to root for the Red Sox to lose and not care who they are playing at the time. Kevin, you are cheering for the Marlins and they are ahead of your sorry asses. WOW, the Mets really have hit rockbottom. | ||||

I'm rooting for the mets to beat the sawks, and so are any other intelligent yankee fans. but, i'll give you guys credit when you aren't 12 games under 500 and 13 out of first place, fair enough? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Now things turn around and us Met fans have to be Yankee fans for 3 days. So Lets go Yankees, go sweep Philly please. And yeah, I know the Mets are pretty much out of it. But they do have a little hope. If the Yankees sweep the Phillies, the Mets have 3 games with Philly next weekend, and 4 with Philly the weekend after that. If they take those games, believe it or not, they wont be too far behind, and if Atlanta starts to struggle, all of a sudden the Mets will be in Striking Distance with 2 months left still. Probably wont happen, but you never know. | ||||
