I have always enjoyed musicals (Fire away with the Judy Garland/Mario Cantone faggit remarks) Did a few of them in High School. Anyway I rented Chicago tonight. Guys if you dig Catherine Zeta-Jones just put the fuckin thing on mute. I just sat there open mouthed watching this girl move. Yummy...She really knows how to work the sexiness. Michael Douglas, kid toucher,(relatively speaking) is a lucky man being able to tap that every night. I'm not gonna spoil the plot or anything but you stoners out there would do well to smoke about 5 joints before you watch this movie, cause it plays like dream sequences and stuff. Nice cameos by Mya and another one of my favorites, Lucy Liu.
Gonna go watch some old Godzilla movies now.
I didn't think she looked that great in it... something about her hair. Didn't like it.
That said, CZJ is hot.

I never had any intention of seeing the Broadway show. I never wanted to see the movie, either.
But I did go see it in theater when a friend of mine started raving about it. I figured I should make a judgement for myself.
You know what? I liked it. I enjoyed everything about it. And oddly enough, the thing that impressed me most was that in a time of stunt doubles and lip sync-ing...all the actors did their own singing and dancing.

i think the best part of the movie was that it kind of had a show type vibe so you didnt feel like you were watching a regular movie, more like a play on a screen. anyone agree?

I actually did Grease, The King and I and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when I was in High School, so I have an appreciation for the Musical. As opposed to being a show tune singing faggit, as you so eloquently put it.
