So, all of our parents probably taught us all the same basic stuff like work hard, get good grades, don't lie/cheat/steal/save some money etc., but what have you learned along the way that you would teach others?

- Going to every class in college is much easier than trying to learn it on your end before a test.

- Listen to your gut, follow your heart and be open to change

- Money should not drive your career choice, your passion for something should.

- If you can't accept someone as is without trying to change them, move on and find a new friend.

- Always go to court if you get a speeding ticket.

There's more, but I don't want my post to turn into a book, so what have you learned?
I learned the differnce between shit and shine-ola
but not until after I ruined some shoes.
What? Are you only 18? That's all you learned? Rolleyes
I learned not to spit into the wind.
I learn that no matter how beautiful a girl is, there is a guy somewhere who is sick and tired of putting up with her shit.
OK all of you who looked and didn't post, you haven't learned anything? Give me your names then I won't waste my time talking to you.
It's hard to wipe your ass with a toothbrush.

  1. When to hold them.
  2. When to fold them.
  3. When to walk away.
  4. When to run.
