Yes I'm a dork and I read this.
I think it is a good idea. I really do love horror movies and believe that there should be a whole channel dedicated to it. There's a shit load of foreign horror movies that would blow people away also. Reading their message board, they thought it would be censored but I know that on IFC and a handful on other stations they don't. So I think this idea could work.
I'd really like to see this happen though It shouldn't be censored at all, there's no point of a censored Horror movie. It's just not good. So if they don't censor it it will rock.

However, anything Rob Zombie puts his hands on turns almost instantaneously to shit. So I'm a little wary of that. Otherwise I can't wait.
You and I would get along terrifically.

I love horror movies. Books. Scenarios. Pictures.

I'm a gore fiend.

I'm with you.
why not have a channel devoted to horror, hell there are at least two fucking channels devoted to women and queers. granted it shouldn't be on basic cable. but some of the basic cable channels aren't so censor oriented, trio is a pretty good channel, and its basic cable
I'm all for it...I'd watch it.
i wish there was a bill murray channel

ooh a groundhog day channel! that would be sick!
bruce campbell channel, now that would be the shit:duh:
the channel absolutely can't be censored. That would just be retarded if it was.

Groundhog Day channel? uh, buy the DVD. Same goes to the Bruce Campbell channnel idea.

However, I would imagine that you would find the Evil Dead series on such a channel...this Horror channel that we speak of.

And yeah, speaking of foreign horrow films, I wouldn't mind seeing Ringu.
Quote:ooh a groundhog day channel! that would be sick!

It's on TBS constantly lately. I think it's TBS...one of those stations. I watch it every time....

As for a horror channel. It's good in theory. I think they would have to come up with some weekly tv series to keep it fresh though.
syndicate shows like "Dead Like Me" or "Six Feet Under" "Dead Zone" "Buffy" "Angel"....

old school shows like the Twilight Zone too...

it is feasible...

Get Wes Craven and John Carpenter to come up with an original series or two...

somebody hire me as a consultant!! we can make it happen! (and I'm much more into sci-fi than I am into horro flicks...go figure.)
