Something reminded me of a show I watched on the learning channel, testing monkeys, they put them in a steel cage wired electrically. Then, they start sending out electric shots through the cage. Slowly at first, then increasing. The mother monkey, with her baby, at first tried to hold the baby up, and save him the pain. Once the shocks hit a certain level, after some time, she put her baby on the floor and stood on him to save herself.

Fascinating.

I can't comprehend what it would take for me to do that. With my kids at least. I'd cut up and eat anybody else I was trapped somewhere cold with. And I'd burn their hair and clothes to stay warm.

In the documentary, I was actually laughing watching the monkey jump around as it was sporadically electricuted.
