the working world doesn't believe in Veteran's Day. that's why i am working today.

My office obviously does. The courts are closed, the banks are closed, the post office is closed...why bother?
We used to only be open when the courts were open. But they changed it to if the courts are open we are open. But we may also be open on days that the courts are closed. this sucks.
I personally think having a Tuesday off is dumb. I'd much rather take the day after Christmas.
Be happy you have it off. I don't get the day after christmas off either. Though I'm taking my vacation time that week. Rock! I'll be gone half the month of december almost.
I bet Bill Gates took a personal day for himself. However, he won't dare close his companies.
And my bitch of a supervisor called out "sick" today....how odd.....
