Last night i opened what i presumed to be the cable bill....much to my suprise it was a letter from my cable service providers telling me that they have documentation of me "pirating" software.

I scanned the letter(which included another short letter and 2 pages worth of coding from the makers of Adobe Photoshop) and it pretty much says to deactivate the files that i'm sharing or they will take such and such legal actions.

What stupid assholes to think that they're gonna stop me from Dling whatever i want.
When you downloaded your version of Photoshop, and when you registered it, did you put your information in the registration?
When I downloaded my photoshop 7, and got a serial number online and just put a bunch of x's on the registration...

What rooner said.

*wait is this software and not music?

then what bite said.
how many items were in your share folder?
When i Dled Photoshop i Dled the cracker with it.

I never fill out anything online with my real name/address/etc.

The letter is just for the illegal distribution of Photoshop, i guess they didn't care about the 2000+ artists i've been neglecting to pay for their musical stylings.
I'm a little confused. What does the RIAA have to do with software?

well, they'll stop you when they cancel your account, wont they?
Actually I took a minute to think about it and I say what rooner said again.
I dunno.

It just seemed the way to go with the thread title, you know, head turner.
