Ok, I wanna know if this game is actually worth playing. I can hear my penis crying when the commercials come on, but I wanna know if it's just smoke and mirrors.

I don't wanna sound sexist...oh wait yes I do...but the fact that the main character is a chick and that there's no dudes in the game pisses me off.

So, any thoughts or comments on the game? Or do I have to sit there and cringe everytime I see the awful commerical where the chi(n)ck is singing?
If the idea of playing a RPG titled "Final Fantasy", but requiring you to power up by changing outfits like you're in a freakin' fashion show rocks your boat, then go for it.
What really perplexes me (oh yeah, Im a college boy now) is that there was more than one FINAL Fantasy to begin with. But thank you Brain, I'll burn the first one now. It's also further proof that the penis is always right.
***cough***

Actually it is a good game. It's nowhere as good as Final Fantasy X was, but as a sequel it holds it's own.
As far as the singing goes, that's only a very small part of the game. It has to do with dresspheres and garment grids (too much to explain in detail here).

I wasn't too keen on the whole female only cast either, but you get used to it after a while and tend to look past that. Hell, I've been playing it since I got it for my birthday in November and still am into it the 3rd time through (replayability factor here far outweighs that of FFX).

If you liked Final Fantasy X, then I strongly recommend you pick up this game as well. If nothing else, it will keep you occupied until FFXII comes out late next year.
My bad Moosen...I'll be honest in saying that I looked for a search button on the first page and then said screw it and posated a new one.
That's okay. As you can see your thread has more posts in it in a few minutes than mine did since mid November.

Anyway, you should at least rent it to see if you like it. I think you would, but this way you'll find out for yourself before spending the $40-$50.
