Honestly no, the posting styles are completely different. I know personally cause I did it a couple times on .com, you try to keep everyone guessing so you don't post as you normally would.
Perception has a part to play, as well.
Remove predisposed inclinations/assumptions/frameworks and words have more impact.
But your point is valid too.
