I'm pretty sure it makes up for many things. I'd chop my nuts off if I thought it would help the Eagles just get there.

Yes, for me it more than makes up for it. However, I'm a much bigger patriots fan than a red sox fan, so my opinion is biased. If you talked to my bosses, they would give up their first born for the red sox to win the series. So in their case, no.
