Even though I couldn't stand Lewis either and think he is scared to fight Vitali Klitschko again, hence his retirement, I don't see this as being a good thing for heavyweight boxing.
I mean look at who is out there in the division. As much as I wanted to see Klitschko destroy Lewis, he's really not a good fighter and would have made an awful champ.

3. Roy Jones, Jr.

Frankly, the only one on that list that I feel would make a good champion is Roy Jones Jr., but he isn't a true heavyweight and there is no guarantee at this time that he even wants to continue fighting in this division.
What this division needs is another Mike Tyson (in his prime) to really shake things up again. Until that happens, it will contiune to be the same old stale and boring division it has been for the past 10 years.

Lewis is 38 years old if i was pushing 40 i wouldn't want to fight anymore either.

Lewis is one of the most classy champs in a long time. He fought everyone and bailed out before he looked completely foolish or get seriously injured. I just hope he stays true and never fights again.

Hes a bitch. Always has been. He has a glass chin and the only reason it wasnt exploited more was because he has an 84" reach, so he would just jab people the whole match to a win. Which I guess you could say thats dominating an opponent, but I think it just shows how much of a bitch he is. The division right now is like it was in the early 80s, prior to Tyson exploding on the scene. And classy DIG? Hes a pompous asshole who talked the most shit but did nothing to back it up. He NEVER went toe to toe anyone, like Holyfield vs Bowe and similar fights. He never proved himself. He dominated a great division at its lamest time.
