I agree with you on the show sucking, but unfortunately not on Outkast kicking ass in their performance.
I didn't understand one damn word the guy said in that whole song. He could have been speaking another language for all I knew.
This show is getting almost as bad as the MTV Music Awards. In their ads they promoted surprise appearances and an all-star salute to The Beatles. What did we get all show? A bunch of performances of random people thrown together for duets (Sting and Sean Paul? Foo Fighters and Chick Corea? Justin Timberlake and Arturo Sandoval?) and the "big" all-star salute was nothing more than Sting, Dave Matthews, Vince Gill, and Pharrell Williams doing "I Saw Her Standing There". AWFUL!
About the only thing I did enjoy was checking out Beyonce who was as hot as ever.

Sorry, I'm just not feeling it.
As for that PSA, I had to laugh. Do these people honestly think those who aren't in the business give a shit about them and their "plight"? No, the average Joe would 99.9% of the time download for free rather than spend their money to further line the pockets of millionaires.

I gave up about 10:15. Just couldn't take anymore. It was awful...just awful.

I can't believe I sat thru the entire 3 1/2 hours of it. At around 10:15, I started flipping between the Grammys & "Blazing Saddles"....I needed some laughter. Sheesh.
Beyonce didnt shut up with her "I love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu", I love Dave Matthews but I honestly didnt think that performance wasn't all that great...Foo Fighters are awesome, period. But I really think they could've done w/out Chic Corea.

Raises hand. They have yet to replicate the greatness of that album, but does any group really ever do that? For the record, ATLiens and Aquemini kick ass too. As for Speakerboxxx/LoveBelow, I thought it sucked. Theres like 3 good songs. But I like that they arent afraid to try new stuff.
