Salsa, I'm a musician/drummer myself, playing and songwriting for years. Not saying I'm good but I like to think I learned a few things along the way. I say the following with professionalism and respect, almost like I'm in the studio next to you, trying to help you track these bits. "Tough love", if you will.
What are you trying to do with these songs? I mean, really?
Focus a bit, get some structure. Jams are nice and all but for those of us who aren't playing the song, hearing actual SONGS is preferable.
How about some hook too? Give me something I can hum along with, over and over. A song without hook (and again, STRUCTURE) is poop.
