Ya know, if in fact it's not the Batmobile, then I say it's not too bad. If it is though, I think it looks stupid. I mean come on, the friggin thing looks like a tank. Who the fuck is he gonna catch in that thing? What's it's top speed, 40 mph? Nevermind the fact it's so wide it might not even fit down the streets of Gotham City.
DEATILS DETAILS!!!! Why you gotta ruin the willing suspension of disbelief??
New pic of the new Batman outfit. It's kinda hard to see the full detail of the suit, but here it is nonetheless.

Christian Bale's Batman
I hope this comes out well.
Where's the bat on his chest?? The outfit looks ok..but there's no bat on his chest...

It's actaully been written that the reason Batman keeps the yellow insignia on his chest is to draw gunfire to it. His chest contains he most body armor, so it gives the baddies something useless to shoot at, as opposed to his head, which is kinda exposed.

Quote:Colin McFarlane .... Commissioner Loeb

Nice touch there - eeuucch! - Loeb may have written some kick ass stories, but "Commissioner Miller" would have been better, or even "Commissioner Adams" - both have done far more for Batman's mystique than ole Jeph. And considering it's loosley based on "Batman: Year One," Miller deserves the credit.

Still a crapshoot here - let's just hope all the mistakes from Batman Forever and Batman & Robin don't get repeated.

Batman's always been most appealing (IMO) as the man with a thousand plans in the shadows, loving everyone underestimating him and not caring what people think about his methods. He's ruthlessly efficient, a complete masochist, and pretty much unbeatable when he's prepared, although when he's not prepared he's still a dangerous opponent.

He could single-handedly take out ANY hero or villian by himself. He's proved it time and time again, between kicking Superman's ass to coming up with ways to disable every member of the Justice League. He lives for challenges, and thrives on accomplishment, yet he'll always be running the race that never ends, pushing himself to achieve glass cieling goals, always another level to go. He failed to save his parents, and his curse is to never save enough others to satisfy his hunger for justice, let alone revenge.

A complex and thouroughly enjoyable character, when written and drawn right. I can't tell you how many GOD AWFUL Batman stories there've been, with idiotic writers using creative license to alter him into something else - much like the aforementioned movies, where he becomes an overly dramatic, shallow piece of what he should be.

I hope Bale has read the right comics.
Griz didnt go out much as a kid.
I just hope they get the rights to do the Batman/Predator thing....The firs set of that was intense and a lot of fun to read.
