so i am going paintballing for the first time in my life soon. I have always wanted to go because I always like the first person shooter video games.

Alright, alright...first off, it is NOTHING like first person shooter games. Just because you're good with a joystick, dosn't mean you're good with a gun.
Best advice I can give is: if you're playing with a group of people, when you make a plan...stick with the plan. don't deviate, you'll get fucked.
Don't shoot until you have a clear shot. Otherwise you give up your position and could get hit yourself.
The paintballs hurt. Make sure you have a full facemask that covers your neck as well.

I took gooch once.....
he loaded multi colored balls in his gun,
and started painting an abstract on a boulder rather than play the game,
we fragged him and moved on.
i am going with a group of people, hopefully around 20 with the people I work with..
I was going to wear old jeans and a sweatshirt. should that be enough protection from the paintballs?
Before I go, I am going to watch a few war movies and play PS2 Frontline!
