Lollapalooza Runs With The Gypsies
Updated 14:52 PST Mon, Mar 29 2004
Lollapalooza continues its groundbreaking ways this year, with Morrissey, Sonic Youth, and The Flaming Lips topping the bill as the festival transforms into the first-ever two-day music festival on wheels.
"This summer, Lollapalooza will embody the spirit of the gypsy! Our buses of artisans sleeping over in each and every city will spread the sense of exhilaration," founder Perry Farrell said. "The days and nights will be filled with mischief."
Modest Mouse, The Polyphonic Spree, and The String Cheese Incident are also confirmed for the summer trek. A full lineup and specific tour dates will be announced shortly.
Along with the hot lineup and lower ticket prices, organizers promise the festival will enable the masses to participate in cutting edge technology and culture, while encouraging increased environmental consciousness and political awareness and offering the opportunity to affect change in a positive way.
well, rooner will be happy
WOW, they still do a Lollopoluza? I guess it's just too much of a well established anti-establishement, anti-corporation money making vehicle to die

Wth. Am I this out of touch with pop culture, or am I not missing much?
You aren't missing much...
But I know Grizz will love S.C.I.
Maybe I'll go to beat up the gypsies.
i'll be attending projekt revolution tour with The Used, Snoop Dog, Linkin Park, and Korn.

I could are less about any of the bands other than The Used really, and the last time they were in the area their show was cancelled, so i'm forced to see them in this festival.
That should be a melting pot.
Add a little Napalm and it could be.
I'm so there because I like the depressing music and Morrisey is the king of it
