Did anyone else see this piece of shit?

What an overly cliched display of crappy storyline mixed with terrible acting and a horrible mix of miniatures a cg 'special' effects.

I struggled through this as if I were driving slowly by a 25 car pileup. The only light at the end of this tunnel was the end of the show when I could switch to MTV (to see a chick I knew on Viva La Bam) and then go to bed.

The big climactic desctructive seen where California starts to split was so bad it reminded me of my photoshop (actually paint) work.

Horrible.
Nope, didn't watch. Knew it would be horrible because NBC didn't bother putting it in HD.
I read similar accounts of this but for some reason it didn't stop me from tuning in. I have 400 or whatever channels on this thing and I just had to watch and laugh at this. You too can make a quake movie! All you need is some matchbox cars lighter fluid a sandbox a bucket of water and and shake the camera around a lot while your actors fall all over the place.
I was hoping the pay off would come at the end. Much like my wife during sex, I was disappointed.
Didn't we already have an earthquake disaster movie?

Are there any original ideas out there?

My favorite disaster movie was the one where the indian lost his roof on a horribly windy day.
How about the one where the Indians get driven off of their land by a swarm of whities?
