the whole mainstream/underground arguement is silly. its reserved for people who care less about music and more about the politics of music.
If you'd bother to read my original post you'd know that I'm claiming nothing of the sort. If you don't like Phish, fine. But if you're so shallow that you think Phish has nothing to offer but dirty hippie fans and horrible music, you're deluding yourselves, so it wouldn't suprise me to learn you're missing out on other great music simply becuase you're too dim to see past a cheap, superficial stereotype.
