Anyone suggest some decent batteries for a digital cam?? Preferably rechargeable. Fucking things are eating thru my duracells like John Pinette at the Chinese Buffet.

Thanx
I just recently bought a camera at Best Buy. They have a digital camera beginner set thingy with a lil bag for the camera, charger, and 4 rechargeable batteries.
My Olympus that I got for Christmas came with a rechargeable battery pack. I've only had to recharge once since then. My old Fuji camera had rechargeable "AA" batteries. I always had 4 -- 2 charging and 2 in the camera. Mine came with the camera setup, but you could most likely get plain old Radio Shack ones.
sweet angel wins.
Basicly wat they said, is that you should have bought a better camera.
I bought a couple sets of Nickel-Metal 1.25v batteries from Odd Job. Helluva lot cheaper than radio shack and one set is always charged.
And try to use the LCD panel as little as possible when taking pictures. Your batteries will last 5 times as long if you just use the camera like a normal camera, and then just check them out on the LCD.
Thank you
energizer has good rechargables
You have to buy the batteries that are meant for digital cameras....The ones I purchased (along w/the charger), I bought w/the camera. They're called Powerhaus 1800mAh batteries. They're rechargable and they're better than standard double a's.
You wanna get any battery that has that 1800mAh on it.
