You used to be HunkaBunka
Heard so much but I've never been
Then I hear you had a sex change
Now its a place where I'd commit sins.

You have a huge bar in the back
You have a bar on either side of the stage
Everytime I go to you to peep a fav band
I walk away thinking it was all the rage

The view you provide
totally makes me cream in my jeans
But I don't.

I'm in a public place, whatsahmattahwitchoo?

Bottom line, Starland Ballroom - I fuckin' love you.

-------------------

See you in two nights my dear, as I plan on attending the 40 Below Summer show.

*smooch*

Point of this thread being that I think the Ballroom is one of the best if not the best rock club/venue in Jersey today. No doubt. Catch your favorite rock/metal band there. You'll be glad that you did.
Im still in awa LaMours was closed down.
Never been but it has to be better than Bene which is a shanthouse compared to most places.
it completely shits on Bene/Krome. No question.
groovy
totally
Place around the block from my place ...The Red Zone is trying to have hard-core shows and the like there....

There are no cool places to go anymore in Queens.
Eh. L'amours looked like shit anyway.
I want to go to the Starland Ballroom...there's so many shows going on there now.
I especially wanna go to RexPlex for Hellfest weekend....but that won't happen.
The latest version of L'amours was a dump. During the 80's though..there was nothing like it. I saw everything from an unknown band called Metallica, do their first NY show there to seeing Iron Maiden play a surprise show under the name "Charlotte and the Harlots".
The place is legendary in my eyes.
I'll be at Starland next month for Soulfly-Ill Nino, hopefully I'm not the only one here who shall attend.
