Anyone watch the fight? What about all 3? I dont think it lived up to the first one, but a fitting ending none the less. Are there ANY guys out there with bigger hearts? Both guys sluggin it out with broken hands, greatest boxing trilogy Ive ever witnessed.
i watched it. great fight. if it wasn't for that hand getting injured, Gatti would have knocked him out this time.
I agree. These two have been my favorite fighters for a while now, and I dont think I could of picked who I wanted to win. But since Wards career is over, Im glad Gatti got the win and some momentum heading into a title chase.
I wish all boxing fights could be that riveting. All 3 fights were CLASSICS, even the other night. The first one was the best one though.
I have the first and third on tape. Ive actually watched the first one like 3 or 4 times, just because boxing sucks anymore. Seriously, what boxing needs is Mike Tyson to be good again. I know, I know, it aint gonna happen, but remember how exciting it used to be to get ready for a Tyson fight. (pre Douglas) It used to be an event.
