No doubt we were duped into this war, doesnt take a phd to know that. But I still say it was needed. Unfortunately, we, the American people, are going to pay the highest price for it. With the lives of our soldiers. And honestly, I dont even know if its going to do any good. But if we didnt do anything, and 5 years from now, Saddam is causing some kind of mindless havoc, everyone will say we should of done something. Just like we did when we encouraged the kurds to rise up and then left them high and dry. The people over there are so simple minded, that I dont think they can function in a modern world. Their religion holds them back. Thats not to say Islam is bad, just antiquated. The middle eastern version of Islam needs to be updated. Again, thats my opinion.

The U.S. policy was <i>always</i> "Let's sit both sides down and form a peace treaty". <u>Until we got attacked</u>. Then the policy changed to "Let's go in, and blow up anyone who looks at us funny".

Dont get me wrong ken, I think ALL religions are fucked. Tis why I dont practice any religion. But the different version of Islam in the middle east are so bass ackwards its not funny.
