This is fucking unbeleiveable. I have fucking had it with Dolan and Layden. This is completely FUCKING INSANE! How can you be so damn stupid to get rid of LATRELL SPEWELL and get KEITH MOTHER FUCKING VAN HORN?!
I cant put anger and disapproval into words right now. And it just so happens that Joe Beningo is on vacation this week, so I cant tell you guys to tune into him tonight. I wouldve LOVED to hear what he had to say about this completely fucking stupid trade.
Just when you thought the Knicks could be an OK team(Houston, Spree, Lampe, Thomas, Sweetney, Eisley wouldve been a nice starting/backup lineup eh?) they Jim Dolan-it up and make this trade. Un fucking beleiveable.

Wasn't it the general consensus that Spree was being forced to play out of position with Houston as the shooting guard? Now the Knicks have a legit small forward in Van Horn. Quitcherbellyachin'.
But an excellent move for the Timberwolves. Won't let them get anywhere near the Finals, but at least Kevin Garnett has somebody to help him make it interesting.
all I wanna know is what Van Horn's contract is? Sprewell is off the books after 05 if Van Horn is also then I don't care. The knicks will never win a title without a franchise type player ala Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, Kidd. Right now the main goal should be to get cap space. If Van Horn's contract is still on the books after 05 then Layden is a disgrace to the knicks and will get a 20 year extension from james dolan jr's son' son or whichever family memebr rich kid is running the knicks these days

Yes it was true that Spree was playing out of his "natural" or "normal" position but he was still playing fine. And just because Van Horn is a small forward doesnt mean shit and you know why? HE STINKS! Van Horn is a horrible player and never comes through when you need him. He's never proven himself as the great first round pick that he was supposed to be. Watch one of his games and then talk to me.

When the story first broke a week or two ago that the Knicks wanted Van Horn for Spree I was listening to Joe Beningo and i think he said that Van Horn's contract is longer and larger then Spree's. But you know what, the Knicks dont care. They throw out money to everybody who is nothing. They think just cause they have the money they can use it which is fucking bullshit.
And another thing I cant stand about the Knicks is how bad Lamar Odom wants to be a Knick and how they just wont sign him. Its so fucked up how they just let him walk away. I dont understand why Dolan and Layden wont just listen to the fans and do something for the fans.
WHOO HOO! We dumped our baggage off on da knicks. Have fun watching Van Horn give you little glimmers of hope that he may have developed a heart during the regular season, only to watch him put his testicles in a jar and put it on the shelf during the post season. I dont know how crazy I am about the sixas getting Big Dog though. Ill reserve judgement on that. But thank you knicks, I thought we were gonna be stuck with keith "marshmellow" van horn forever.

Be thrilled. You got a former #1 pick who can score mad points to take the burden off AI. He had an off year last season because he didn't know his role playing the same position with Shareef. But this will make your team infinitely better. You and the Wolves made out like bandits (Can we get McHale to run the Knicks? Man is working it this offseason.)

Are you kidding me? VH isn't a legit anything. He should be a PF, but he can't play down low for anything. He's always been a tweener that doesn't fit anything. If anything, he's a legit piece of shit.
This is awful. We're paying more money for an even longer contract for less talent. I don't understand it at all. There is absolutely no upside whatsoever. We lose our best player, the guy who gets more fans into the garden than anyone, for a white nothing?????? Do they think he'll sell more tickets? Do they actually convince themselves that KVH is better than Spree? What are they thinking??? They just killed any hope for an exciting team and its not even August yet.

egg zak lee. my sentiments to the tee. However, Spree sealed his fate and became trade bait once he showed up last year with a busted up wrist and said NOTHING about it as he arrived to training camp. douchebag move IMO.
But still, the boy had talent. One of the best slashers in the game today.
