I think there may be a problem with the scoring guys. I just checked to see who got points last night and I noticed there are no fractions of points awarded. There were last year when I played and frankly by removing them, people get jipped scoring wise.

I'll take Delta House for example. They had Rod Gardner last night who got 32 yds. receiving. Now, at the 1 point per 20 yds. rule that should automatically come out to 1.6 points, but instead they were only given one point. How is that fair?
That's basically saying someone who gains 21-39 yds. is going to get the same amount of points as someone who only got 20 yds.

Can you look into this Ham or is this an error on Yahoo's part? Thanks.

I think it should be 1 point per 10 yards, thats how all the leagues Im in are.
Fractional points is an option on Yahoo.
Though, I don't know if it can be changed now. I agree, if it can be changed we should use it.
changed.

barring things discussed in here, i left it at the defaults figuring they knew best. guess they were wrong. i dont think i ever played in a yahoo league with fractional points before but now that i think about it im thinking i like it. a lot
i also told it to rerun the stats with the new settings, so check if it changes. as of now i have 5 delta has 1 and gippy has 2. if it changes we should see it
i had dealing with fractional pts, but the range of yards you need to receive a point should be smaller. it should be 1 pt for every 10 yards. anything over 200 yards should be worth 1 pt a yard. thats how most leagues im in do it.

Works for me. This way WR and RB are pretty much on the same playing field so to speak. In the past the RB's point contribution far outweighed the WRs. This way it would be more even.
10 yds/pt for WR and RB

25 yds/pt for QB's

Yardage is more important than TD's. Yahoo default scoring is screwy.
