It's a slow moving process that has been going on for 8 years now. Give me time. Ever since my wife called up the pizza joint and asked for gnocchi and the chick on the phone pauses and then says "is that a sandwich?" that all of this patience has flown out of my body leaving me with an intolerance for stupidity.
Makes it kinda hard to live with myself I know.

it's actually soda pop. To the the midwest, including WNY, Soda is what you here call Seltzer; unflavored soda is (or just normal soda) club soda. Maybe they think that Seltzer is too Jewish sounding.

In Michigan and Indiana at least, it is simply 'pop'. Some also tend to call all soft drinks 'Coke' regardless of brand.
