I agree we should have gone and got Saddam. Stop a problem before it becomes a bigger problem. But if you think this “capture“ thing was nothing more than a ploy to give Bush credibility, motivate troops, and justify all the American lives lost to the public. Then you not as bright as I thought you were.
I have seen some of the lies first hand while serving in the air force, so don’t you tell me what to believe.

She wasn't some huge war hero who took out dozens of Iraqi troops and saved an entire battalion or whatever the Pentagon story was. She says her weapon jammed and she never fired a shot.
Also, the injuries she supposedly suffered while being tortured brutally by Iraqi's were really sustained when her humvee crashed.
She also said that that she was treated well while in custody.
There are reports that the Iraqi doctors offered to return her to American forces, but they turned them down, opting to go with the heroic rescue that was shown on every news channel in America.
