oh, and to stay on topic - I envy those who can grow full healthy beards/goatees for I can not do such a thing. Damn my familys' non-hairy genetics.
But hey, I rather have these genetics than to have to deal with having a hairy back.

To be honest, I do it because of my genetics also. Being of native american descent, we arent exactly known for our beard growing ability. It grows in all patchy on my cheeks, but good along my chin. Thus/then, the thin beard.

I really don't care for the straight razor either. I actually find the Mach 3 to be superior. Never had a problem with it.
