These guys murdered people for fun, and you guys don’t think they cursed a lot?

I liked the show

It's not that I didn't think they cursed, it's just that I and some others feel it was a bit overdone. It kinda took away from the rest of the dialogue.
Overall though, swearing aside, it was a great show and I look forward to this next episode.

Thats what her name was! they kept saying her name was Jane and i couldnt think of who that was for the whole time i was watching this show.

But on the whole anyway i think this was a great show, and HBO definitely has another hit to add to their list of already great shows.

And about the word "fuck being used some much. The show is set in an 1800's mining town. I'm pretty sure that word got thrown around those towns almost as much it did on that show.

Excellent episode tonight! Things are really starting to heat up between Bullock and Swearengen.

I'm really starting to like this Calamity Jane character now. She was hysterical tonight with the way she gets pissed off at every little thing.

I'm already predicting that Hickock may not make it through to next season if there is one. Just because his friend said to Bullock something along the lines of "I want him to learn before it's too late." It might be like a passing of the torch type thing from Hickock to Bullock.

History tells us that Hickock is killed by Jack McCall at the bar where he plays poker just a couple of months after he reaches deadwood. McCall is the guy who Hickock tells, "If irritating me is the jackpot, you got the job done.” So I would say your prediction is correct, although if it's already happened in real life, it's not really a prediction, but a statement of historical fact, so yet again. I WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Episode 4 is Titled..."here lies a man" and #5 is title "The trial of Jack McCall" so I'm "predicting" that it'll happen late next week or in episode 4

Thank you very much for the history lesson. To be perfectly honest I don't know the full story of Wild Bill Hickock or Calamity Jane or any of those figures from that time.

So, without actually knowing, it is a pretty good prediction.

Poor Bill. Sad

On a side note, I want that outfit that Swearengen was wearing when he was fucking Trixie. That was HOT!

Deadwood - GMANN - 04-12-2004

Here's a little interesting fun fact :

Wild Bill held a pair of eights, and a pair of Aces, which ever since that moment have been known as a "dead man's hand."
