The consumer should know better than to spill coffee on themselves. The consumer should not, however, expect third degree burns should shit happen.

The woman suffered third degree burns because she was wearing polyester pants and was "too embarassed" to removed said pants after she spilled coffee on herself. She CHOOSE the pain of the hot liquid burning her skin over the pain of embarassment of people seeing her remove her pants, which was in an unhealthy state. She made the illogical choice and society is rewarding her for her vainity.

Well, Maxim's lists have always been a joke since they are chosen by people at the magazine. At least with the FHM list it's a worldwide poll. Not to say I agree with some of the rankings, but at least it's a little more accurate.

STOP GOING OFF TOPIC

If you want to talk about frivalous lawsuits, start a thread. This thread is about Spike TV.

Back to the subject at hand.

Last week, Spike Lee was order by the courts to post $2.5 Million in the event that ViaComm wins to cover their legal expenses. It's gotta make him think twice about pursueing the lawsuit. It would totally suck to lose that much money. Especially since he hasn't had anything significant out on the market lately.

Has he ever done anything of significance, period? :disappointed:

Be honest, without looking it up, what was the name of his last movie?

The fact is, no one was even remotely thinking about him until he conjured this dumbass lawsuit. He should admit that he is a washed-up hack director, quit playing the fucking race card, and slink away with whatever shreds of dignity might still be clinging to him.

Actually, it was about Spike Lee's frivolous suit against SpikeTV, so frivolous suits are kinda covered. Rolleyes

It's over, that asshole lost!

Quote: NEW YORK (AP) -- Filmmaker Spike Lee and Viacom have settled a lawsuit Lee filed to keep the media giant from calling its TNN cable television network \"Spike TV.\"

Lee had obtained a temporary injunction in June, preventing the name change, but on Monday state Supreme Court Justice Walter Tolub lifted the order.

The ruling means Viacom, which also owns CBS and MTV, can proceed immediately with plans to rebrand TNN as Spike TV, the \"first television network for men.\" Viacom said it was renaming TNN \"Spike TV\" to attract more men to an audience already two-thirds male. Details on the settlement were not disclosed.
