Note that I said "some". Realizing that not everyone chooses to be a shut-in

Dr. Galt is trying to reach out and touch the masses in a therapeutic and affable way

He should tell that circus chimp that sits next to him to chew like a human. If he could do that Instead of bitching about it I would respect him more. Then more people might be eager to take his advice.

I don't work at a Texaco station where there are no implications for doing something like that.

Neither do I but in any office setting there should be somewhat of a professional atmosphere. You should bring it up to one of your supervisors.

If not keep up the posts they are quite entertaining

My "supervisor" is head of global sales. I'm sure he has more important things to worry about than the fact that the guy who sits next to me eats with his mouth open.

In fact, were I to complain, I would be beaten about the head and face for wasting his time.

I live in Times Square, and needless to say, come 7-ish on New Years Eve, I will be hightailing out of town to an annual party at a friends house!!!I will see the ball come down from a television set and be a whole lot closer to the Event than if I were at home in the Neighborhood! Hope my streets open to walk down on when I come back home!!

On what corner are you working? Underneath the "Lion King" theater sign, perhaps?

Well, I'll be spending NYE where I didn't wanna be....in Times Square..

Times Square on New Year\'s Eve - IrishAlkey - 12-31-2003

I've never done the Time Square thing.

I'd like to.

Nothing gets me more excited than watching a ball drop close to my face.

Times Square on New Year\'s Eve - RapeFantasizer - 12-31-2003

I've never done it, nor wish to. Crowded areas bother me. On a side note, my ex bf is from St. Louis. The 1st year we were together I spent NYE there. They are an hour behind, and at midnight, they turned on the tv, and it was a repeat of the ball dropping in times square at midnight, new york time. I was horrified. Damn hicks can't even have their own NYE party!
