Before the great big bloated one was shot, Puffy seceretly recorded Biggie having a bowel movement. I hear he mixed it and layed down his trademark \"yeah yeah, yo, yeah\" lyrics over it and will be releasing it as yet another Biggie & Puff album.

Then the remix will have "take dat take dat take dat!" on it.

So, in lieu of trying to get them to hash out their differences, you really just wanted to know whether or not P. Diddy was a musician?

I think his mission was to get some "culture" into Mr. Whitie.

Anyone have a copy of Danger Mouse's "The Grey Album" where he took Jay-Z's Black Album accapella tracks and layed them over the Beatles White Album.

theres a certain amount of skill involved in learning to play and instrument even if you're playing someone elses music. i've seen some incredible hip hop DJs who i would consider both artists and musicians. rent SCRATCH if you don't believe me.

my point is not with you it's with 460 and his point saying that DJ's are artist and Cover bands are not.

Keyser broke it down for me.

Some DJs merely "play" at weddings and batmitvahs (sp?) others are innovative and transcend the boundaries of "record spinning manipulation "(for example, Incubus' DJ...forgive me, I can't think of his name...)

funny thing too, I had a discussion regarding "Scratch" the other day with a couple of mah peeps...the end result was that I had to see this movie.

There are alot of DJ's I highly respect for their artistry. DJ Shadow being one of them.

Rush Limbaugh was a great DJ at one time.
