The talk is he could go to Baltimore. But are they willing to spend the money on what would end up being an overpriced DH. He's a team leader that the newer guys could look up to here. I read this column in the Post today about a Piazza/A-Rod trade. FUCK THAT!!! The Mets would lose in that deal, and we already got a decent shortstop in Reyes and would lose more money. Let Piazza catch till he breaks Fisks record, then bounce him between first and the plate. It is obvious his defense has declined as a catcher and maybe he could be a halfway decent first baseman, when giving Philips a day off and Wilson behind the plate. But that's just my thinking.
