QUIT PUTTING POTATOES IN SOUP. Awful. Slurping back some broth chewing some solid chunks and then you get some potato in the broth. And chewing it is like thick mucus in a mouth full of spit.

For potatoes like that at home, I suggest using a roasting bag and cook a nice steak that was marinated in Montreal Marinade for at least 2 hours. Add some sliced up potatoes and carrots, pour the marinade over them, and its a little slice of heaven.
