I was out and about today, doing some side stuff for work, when I came across the studio where this show is being filmed. I had the chance to meet Denis Leary and Daniel Sunjata.
Daniel Sunjata, really nice guy was impressed to see some people from the job.
Leary on the other hand, DICK!!!! Maybe it was the Mets hat, maybe it was he was in a bad mood, maybe it was me singins Asshole as I saw him. I dunno. I thanked him for the fire truck he bought us and went on my way, but he was just a total dick.

He always looked and had an attitude about him that made it seem like he'd probably be a dick in real life.
As for the show getting lame, I'm actually enjoying it more and more as it goes along. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't blown away by the pilot like everyone else seemed to be. I was like "Eh, it's okay. It's definitely not the best thing on TV like some are touting it." Now it does rank up there as one of the best IMO.

With the addition of Diane Farr as the new female firefighter and Lenny Clarke being on every so often, this is turning into a reunion of The Job.
I half expect to see Adam Ferrara show up in one of the episodes soon.

I wonder how well that's going to go over with the Lt. who made the comment about the female computer voice being the closest he would get to working with a lady.
I do, however, count amongst one of my friends in the job, the first female to make Lieutenant, Captain, and Battalion Chief.
