The future of reality... - FollowThisLogic - 07-14-2003

I saw a commercial for "Who Wants to Marry My Dad?"..... and it makes me think.... what the fuck is next?

How about "Who Wants to Kill My Husband?"

What else is on the way from the world of awful, AWFUL reality TV?

(This isn't really an Entertainment forum thing, I think, as it's generic fun.)

The future of reality... - Ninny - 07-14-2003

Coming to ABC Fall 2004:

"Who wants to carry my child"

The Race is On.

The future of reality... - 60FeetUnderWater - 07-14-2003

I recently saw commercials for "The Restaurant" and felt a similar feeling of disgust.

Coming in April 2005:

"Who Wants to Molest Ninnys' Child"

pedophiles from across the country compete for the chance to...

(every good reality show has a second season, no?)

oh and yeah...DING DING DING DING!!

is virtual.

Think about it for a second. George Lucas started the trend, and the networks will pick up on it. Why spend all that money to rent out an entire island hotel, or a villa in France, and send "real" people to those spots, if you can put digitized actors in front of a computer graphic and have them emote for the cameras.

Coming this fall...

"Meet My Digi-Folks!" and "Joe Pixelated"

The future of reality... - HydratedPeach - 07-14-2003

Coming to FAWX! May 2004:

Who Wants to Turn My Son Gay?

Unfortunately, controversy will arise when Fox's background check fails to reveal that the son in question is already a homosexual.

First, we took an ordinary construction worker... and made him act like he was a millionaire.

This fall, we take another construction worker... and make him think he's a nuclear technician.

That's right, prepare for wacky hijinks to ensue on FOX' new reality show Joe Nuclear. Watch as our boy Joe tries not to cause the reactor to blow up, killing himself and countless millions!

IT'LL BE A BLAST!!11
* Cues phony special effects explosions *

I don't think The Brain will like that show too much.

The future of reality... - Ronin - 07-14-2003

The Bachelorette.. or is she??

Men compete for a woman. BUT..... Is it really a woman? Or a man dressed as a woman.

Ooooh....we can also combine that to star ninny, and we'd have two ideas for one awesome reality show.

As long as the reality craze lasts until I finish writing my book, I'm a happy guy.
