I missed Hellfest this year, they had a very good lineup. I so sad.

Quote:Originally posted by Hawt Baux i love madball. i have been listening to them since like 94. i knew the old shit like the back of my hand. on dec 30th '94 i was hanging outside some shitty club in queens waiting for my friends band to go on & Vinny was helping H20 unload their shit. He comes over & starts talking to me, i think it was about the weather or whatever. WE talked for like a half hour. I was 16 at the time, so i wasn't even thinking that he was trying to pick me up (i hope not). It was really random & really cool. awesome guy. but he left the band soon after. i dont' really know what's going on with them now. niffle:

Madball I think is great. The perverbial little brother of Agnostic Front. Freddie started when he was 12. The first 7 inch sound awesome though considering how young they were.

Murphy's Law I would describe as old school hardcore with a LOT of weed and a LOT of alcohol. The anti-Straight Edge if you will. I recommend Back With A Bong and the self-titled Murphy's Law. They both came out a few years back on a two for one on Profile I think it was.

they are something of an acquired taste...Just about everyone i gave them too (including hybrid) gave a kind of 'what the fuck' response to it at first, since its so different from everything else you hear. But once you listen to it a few times and get into it, you'll see:grin2:
