I'll chime in, just because I can and I've been in Laz' situation before.

Putting people in the hole or banning them is completely and utterly childish unless..

A. They are blatantly spamming the board.
B. They are blatantly going around causing trouble and bringing up the same shit in multiple threads/forums.
C. They are just posting smilies and bullshit posts to "up their post count" (I still don't get why anyone would do this.)

Any reason other than those listed above is a bullshit reason and just shows how fuggin' childish and power-mad a mod is (acting).

That said, I realize that my opinion counts for shit and nobody cares what I have to say.

To paraphrase Henry Rollins, hating someone is just giving them way too much of yourself. Just because someone hands you a pile of shit doesn't mean you have to take it.

If you don't like someone, don't read their posts. Don't reply to their posts. Putting them in the hole because you think they're an asshole does nothing more than make you an asshole.
