times square location on a weekend...isn't that place just too crowded for a group to go??? oa.com group once made the mistake of doing friday at times square on a friday night, it was a debacle

just wanted to bring up the "crowd" issue...if you guys sitll want to go forward, i'm down with it...but i'd recommend perhaps picking a place that allows for all ages, but away from such a tourist-trap.

go one block east on 42nd, from 8th ave to 7th ave, that's time square, now turn left and go up a couple blocks, it's on the right if i remember correctly. but yeah, anywhere in the times square area, while easy to get to, is gonna be expensive, and touristy, although maybe not so touristy now that summer is over.

anyway, i'll be working i expect, i can maybe meet up at the 2nd place if i get out early enough.

the place I'm not too keen on but I don't know the city well enough to make an alternative suggestion...

do we want to stay in midtown? is it imperitive that we stay there? is a place downtown an option?


all I know is that I'm down but yeah, the cheaper it is to drink, the better.
