I once decided it'd be cool to change my name from Patrick to Patrik. So people started calling me stupid asshole instead.

What Bethany isn't good enough for you anymore??
Try having a name that rhymes with a lot, it really sucks....hell, smell, tell etc.

All the names I've ever thought of for a kid I met someone who had that name and ruined it for me because I didn't like them. So I'm stuck with Stella or Sarah and the boy is James, its very plain but I want to call him Jaime.

I personally won't name my children something to be different, but I'm not against it if people do. I just think people should think more about what other kids could do to make fun of them based on their name, or even what nicknames will come out of them. A woman came into work with her son, Barkley. My given name is Jaclyn, but I haven't been called that since I was 4. In school Jakie was even too long, it was shortened to Jack or Jacks. That poor kid will be called BARK!!!
