I need a digital slr camera for christmas. They retail at oh well a couple thousand. Took the 35mm slr out and about yesterday only to fuck up the film and ruin all my shots. I stink.

Okay, so what happened to the rest of my original post? It was there the other day. I had a cnet.com comparison of three cameras (Olympus Camedia C-50, Sony CyberShot, and another Sony CyberShot) with pics, etc.
I asked if anyone had any suggestions on a good 5.0 megapixel camera. What the hell happened to my original post????????? Jesus Christ, no wonder there were no responses til now!

I didn't do it!!!! regardless I have an olympus and I swear by them I will own olympus digital cameras until I get up some cash to buy the digital slr which will be a canon.

It's got a nice zoom and megapixel size. I have a lower quality version of the same camera (less megapixels and smaller zoom) and I like it. I mean if all your doing is snapping pictures and putting them on the computer or printing them out the camera is good. I don't know anything about sony cameras but I haven't had any problem with the olympus camedia cameras and software. I'm on my second one. My first one was a hand me down from my brother and incidentally my son got a hold of it and managed to break it.

I have a Fujifilm 2.0 now. The reason I was thinking about the Sony is because my PC is Sony and I could just insert the memory stick in the PC.
