What is it with the recent glut of choreographed dancing movies?

Apparently, Hollywood thinks we want to sit still for two hours watching hot people dancing like it's a Missy Elliot video.

(Although I will be waiting for Jessica Alba's "Honey" to pop up on cable, with a tub of Lubriderm and two rolls of Brawny). :lol:
