The video for the song "Mad World", that was off of the Donnie Darko soundtrack, well they just made a video for it.

First, didnt the movie come out like a year or two ago?.....if not seems it but int he video it's the guy att he top of a school looking on at the children while singing.

I don't know why exactly, maybe because it's a somber song but it just seems very............off. Maybe i'm the only one that notices it but the concept for the video(which is pretty good aside from the fact) just seems a little pedophile-ish to me.

As far as I know, I heard that Donnie Darko is supposed to be re-released in theatres. That apparently there's like another 45+ minutes of cut out material. That plus there's supposedly a huge cult following for the movie that it has prompted them to put it back into the theatres. I read about it somewhere online, and then heard Ron and Fez talking about it the other day.

It was originally a Tears for Fears song. Very different sounding.

I like both versions on their own, they both have their own weirdness to them. Though Gary Jules version is much more haunting.

i saw the video and it didn't seem "pedophile-ish" to me. It reminded me of that retarded fat boy slim (the one in front of the movie theatre) toned down a few notches. Or just a fucked up synchronized-swimming-on-pavement thing.
