I'll take my Glock G20 10mm over a shotgun anyday. Though nothing induces pants shitting like the racking of a 12 gauge, I've qualified as Distinguished Pistol Specialist on all 3 of my hand guns (Issued Glock G17 9mm, the G20 10mm, and a .357 Desert Eagle......i couldn't afford the big boy barrel at the time).
Even being an owner of a IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX .357, I can say with full confidence that I'd rather have spent the money on a second G20......though having a Mark XIX on your hip will easily deter even the most brazen of muggers
